Grinnell Mutual launches SUCCESSion planning tool
Grinnell Mutual launched SUCCESSion, an online platform designed to give Grinnell Mutual agents greater growth opportunities based on their individual needs, on March 4, 2019.
Created and powered by FindBob Ltd, a tech startup focused on providing talent and growth solutions to the insurance and financial services industry, SUCCESSion provides a networking system for agents to connect with other agents and agencies. It also provides Grinnell Mutual with detailed information to help the home office identify strategic opportunities for development and succession.
Mike Shepardson, Grinnell Mutual’s assistant vice president of Sales, Service, and Specialty said, “It’s exciting to work with a vendor as experienced as FindBob, but who still brings a fresh resource to the insurance industry. Many of our agents are in either acquisition mode or approaching retirement and this provides a great way to expand their options beyond their personal network.”
“We’re excited to be partnering with such a respected insurer,” said Roland Chan, founder and CEO of FindBob, “We created FindBob after seeing firsthand the deep need for the industry to identify and address talent management issues such as succession, perpetuation, retention, and growth. Grinnell Mutual’s commitment to continuity and growth for their agents is why we’re proud of what we’ve created and thrilled to be part of Grinnell Mutual’s future.”
Grinnell Mutual is the lead investor for FindBob through the Des Moines-based Global Insurance Accelerator (GIA). Identifying and supporting industry advancements plays an important part in the company’s continued commitment to their agents, mutuals, and policyholders.
