Druvenga inducted into Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame

The Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame will induct Grinnell Mutual Board Director Randy Druvenga during its annual recognition dinner on Oct. 19, 2021. The annual event, which began in 1997, is returning in person after being canceled entirely last year due to the pandemic.

Druvenga is the president of First Maxfield Mutual Insurance Association in Denver, Iowa. He has been with First Maxfield for 22 years and served as president for 12. Druvenga also manages First Maxfield Mutual Resources, which owns three insurance agencies: ABC Insurance, Denver Insurance, and Harms Insurance.

Druvenga served as board chairperson for the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) from 2019 to 2020 and is the past president of the Mutual Insurance Association of Iowa. He holds the PFMM designation and is a member of the NAMIC Merit Society.

Druvenga is also a member of the Iowa High School Officials Hall of Fame, past president of Kiwanis, and active in in the Waverly-Shell Rock schools and Trinity United Methodist Church in Waverly, Iowa.
