Dimond Bros. agency shines for Grinnell Mutual

Grinnell Mutual has recently added a special recognition for its agency partners: the Grinnell Mutual Hall of Fame. The first one was awarded this year, to Dimond Bros., which is based in Illinois and has 37 branches around the state.

Each year, one agency will be recognized for having demonstrated exceptional performance and partnership with Grinnell Mutual. An agency shows how their legacy is intertwined in the fabric of Grinnell Mutual through lifetime achievement. Once an agency is selected, they will be presented with the award during the annual President’s Club dinner.
“Grinnell Mutual has various awards recognizing agency performance over time. With the Hall of Fame, we took a different approach. We wanted to go beyond just profit and growth numbers to acknowledge the whole relationship. We also want to recognize these agencies in a permanent way, taking into account the entirety of our partnership,” said Mike Shepardson, assistant vice president of Agency Sales, Services, and Specialty.

“Dimond Bros. was honored to be recognized as the first member of the Grinnell Mutual Hall of Fame. Our agency is blessed to have so many loyal, professional, and hard-working employees who put their clients first,” said Don Bartos, CEO of Dimond Bros. “Because of our employees and the great company relationships like the one with have with Grinnell Mutual, Dimond Bros. has grown to become one of the largest independently owned insurance agencies in the country.”
Shepardson noted that the great working relationship that Grinnell Mutual and the agency have is a huge part of why Dimond Bros. received the recognition.

Our relationship has benefited not only the agency and Grinnell Mutual, but policyholders, too,” Shepardson said. “And Grinnell Mutual has so many amazing agents that it’s a real testament to our collaboration with Dimond Brothers that they are our first-ever Hall of Fame agency!”
