Grinnell Mutual hosts 2026 Annual Meeting

Grinnell Mutual Holding Company’s second annual business meeting convened on June 24, 2026, in Grinnell, Iowa, at the Grinnell Mutual Bartelt Conference and Education Center with Board Chair Bill Lampe presiding. The 117-year-old company, Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company, was reorganized as Grinnell Mutual Holding Company, effective Jan. 1 of 2025.

The secretary of the board of directors presented the financial statements and elections were held. 

The following board members were re-elected for a three-year term, ending June 2029: Bill Lampe, of Heritage Mutual, Preston, Iowa, and Steve Underwood of United Mutual, Washington, Mo.

Lampe remains as president through 2029. Susan Taggart of Mutual of Indiana Insurance Company, Lafayette, Ind., remains as first vice chair until her term expires in 2028; and Jim Wellman of German Farmers Mutual, New Knoxville, Ohio, remains second vice chair until his term expires in 2027.
