Rick Osborn, vice president of actuarial services
Rick Osborn joined Grinnell Mutual in January 2025 in the vice president’s role.
He brings with him more than 29 years’ experience in actuarial work for the insurance industry, 16 of those at an AVP and VP level. Rick grew up in Grinnell, Iowa, and is a graduate of Grinnell College in his hometown, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. He also holds CPCU and FCAS designations.
Osborn started his career as an assistant actuary and worked at Grinnell Mutual previously, from 1998 to 1999.
He and his wife, Tari, have four grown children and live in Johnston, Iowa.
