Kevin Farrell, Vice President of Reinsurance

Kevin Farrell is vice president of Reinsurance at Grinnell Mutual.

He began his career at Grinnell Mutual in 2013 as the assistant vice president of Personal Lines and Farm Underwriting. He began his insurance career in 1999 with Allied Insurance Company.

During his career Farrell has experience in claims, sales, underwriting leadership, and product management/development.

Farrell was named vice president of Reinsurance in May of 2015. He also serves as a director for Grinnell Advisory Company and co-chairman for the IAMIC Loss Control Committee.

Farrell graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. He is currently working toward his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He and his wife, Megan, live in Grinnell with their three children.
